The Isenberg Operations & Information Club seeks to be an engaging platform for members to learn about the wide variety of careers possible in Operations & Information Management as well as connect members to professional contacts can help assist them through navigating their careers. The club gives members the opportunity to exercise the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their chosen careers through sponsored value-adding on-campus IT and Operations consulting projects. Additionally, the club serves as a beacon to inform the campus community of the contribution that the Isenberg Operations & Information Management undergraduate program can offer.
APICS The Association for Operations Management is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources, and worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals.
APICS, The Association for Operations Management, is a worldwide, respected, not-for-profit organization with nearly 60,000 members.

Sep. 18th @ SOM 108 - Special guest Andy Nemtzow, Director of Strategy and Management Services at BOSE Corp., on the current issues facing BOSE's global supply network.
Sep. 25th @ SOM 108 - Special guest Leo Arel, Material Manager for Pratt & Whitney Jet Engines, will join us for a conversation on managing inventories for a highly complex product manufacturing process and on internship opportunities for sophomores and juniors.
Oct. 2nd @ SOM 129 - Join the APICS/OIM crew for the club rebrand party. We'll discuss our goals for building the organization into a platform for focused learning, worthwhile networking, and spectacular socializing. Town Hall Meeting style. Get in on the brainstorm. How can the Ops & Info Club best benefit you?
Oct. 9th @ TBD - Don't wait for just any internship to come your way. Go get the one that you really want! Your officers will introduce you to the internship search resources that you never knew you had. They'll also brief you on their own internship experiences so you can figure out exactly where you want to take your OIM degree.

Oct. 23rd @ SOM 108 - Join us in welcoming C&S Wholesale Grocers, the largest wholesale grocery supply company in the United States, to discuss recent enhancements to the company's distribution centers and their overall supply chain. Marissa Allison, a program manager for college recruiting, will be there to discuss any internship or full-time position questions you may have.
Oct. 30th @ SOM 106 - Wrapping up the month of October, Macy's logistics will lead off the night will an in depth look at the complexity in sourcing thousands of pieces of apparel and distributing varying quantities to specific retail stores.
Nov. 6th @ SOM 106 - We're very happy to have Allicyn Aubut back on campus. Allicyn is a 2004 graduate of Isenberg OM and has enjoyed a successful career as an IT/Management Consultant. As a consultant she's advised CIO's from banks to Oil E&P's on how to effectively deploy database and software infrastructure. Allicyn will be here to educate and inspire us on the possibilities available in a consulting career.
This Western Massachusetts Chapter is located in Springfield, MA. This chapter has over 200 members representing approximately 100 companies.
The mission of this chapter is to develop and to provide superior training, education and programs in resource management and related areas that are needed to assist our customers in achieving competitive excellence in a global economy. And to be "future-oriented" to meet changing market and membership requirements and to maintain an eminent position in the marketplace.
Our UMass Chapter will hopes to set up events in conjunction with this large chapter.
